Here is an interesting and informative video clip regarding Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures. (You may want to note this web page and advise others to view it.)

Many thanks to Gray on our forum for bringing this to our attention.

Our membership of the Long-Term Conditions Alliance Scotland has now been confirmed.

We joined the Alliance as a means of building working relationships with other organisations, gaining assistance in our quest for world domination (just kidding!!), whilst bringing NEAD to the attention of others who may be unaware of it.

We are also able to now use their facilities for meetings (1-2-1 or group), and intend to arrange our first (possibly a coffee morning) as soon as possible.

Anyone interested in attending one of these meetings (NEAD sufferer or not) should contact us by email at admin@nead-scotland.org.

Thursday, Feb 12th 2009

After having contacted The Really Useful Group, we are delighted to announce that they have given us permission to adopt one of their licensed songs as our signature tune.

The song we requested, and were subsequently given permission for, is Any Dream Will Do by Tim Rice & Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber.

This song was chosen as we all have a dream of there being a medication to control NEAD, and an even bigger dream that one day we may be fortunate enough to even have a cure.

Although the permission to use this song does not indicate that we have been in any way endorsed or supported by The Really Useful Group, we felt it was appropriate to announce that they have been kind enough to allow us this permission.

Again, many many thanks to them.
