   Living with NEAD

Kim Roebuck

I'm 24 years old and have been suffering with NEAD for around three years.

I'm still unsure as to why I have these attacks, I tried psychotherapy which did not  do anything for me.

My childhood was not the best, a few things happened that I still am unable to talk about with anyone, hence the psychotherapy not working. I just found it extremely difficult to actually talk about anything! I had 17 sessions altogether.

I feel now as if my life is going somewhere, as I'm nearly finished doing a diploma at college, and hoping to come out with a triple distinction, in Animal Management. I'm going to university in September to do a degree in Animal Management and Welfare.

The only thing that is not  going for me is the NEAD, and I desperately hope everyday that one day it will just be gone.
